CARME i CHRIS es casen el 16 de maig de 2023, a Terrassa, Catalunya.

No necessitem cap regal de casament. En canvi, estem recaptant fons per ajudar els nens pobres i discapacitats al Nepal. Utilitzarem qualsevol donació que vulgueu fer per ajudar a pagar les petites quotes que una família pobra ha de pagar per enviar el seu fill a l'escola. Estem portant a terme un petit  projecte  AJUDA A UN NEN AL NEPAL

Entre el 2008 i el 2018, Chris Dickinson va fundar i va gestionar el "Nepal Schools Trust", una organització benèfica a Escòcia, que va ajudar a  28 escoles del  municipi de Devchuli al Nepal central. Com a part del seu treball, NST va aconseguir finançament per a un edifici, dissenyat i construït en col·laboració amb Pahar Trust. Vam construir una bona escola residencial per a nens amb sordessa profunda de la regió. NST també va començar a interessar-se i donar suport econòmicament al Kawasoti Hostel Project, un alberg de terres baixes per a nens de muntanya amb discapacitats físiques. L'objectiu de l'alberg és facilitar que aquests nens puguin anar a l'escola  propera a l'alberg. En Chris i la Carme ara volem donar suport a nens individuals  que  necessiten una mica d'ajuda econòmica per anar a l'escola, ja sigui perquè la família és molt pobra o perquè el nen assistirà al Kawasoti Hostel. Chris també està intentant activament ajudar a equipar aquest alberg amb equips especialitzats de fisioteràpia per als nens que hi viuran. Es tracta d'una col·laboració amb una organització benèfica britanica anomenada Physionet.

Qualsevol donacio, petita o gran, en efectiu o Bizum, amb la referencia AJUDA AL NEPAL, sera molt agraida.

CARME and CHRIS are getting married on 16th May 2023, in Terrassa, Catalunya. 

We do not require any wedding gifts. Instead we are collecting funds to help poor and disabled children in Nepal. We will use any donations that you may wish to give, to help to pay the small fees that a poor family has to pay to send their child to school. We are calling our small project  HELP ONE CHILD IN NEPAL

Between 2008 and 2018, Chris Dickinson founded and operated the "Nepal Schools Trust", a charity in Scotland, helping  28 schools in the  Devchuli Municipality in Central Nepal.  As part of his work NST managed to find funding for a building, designed and constructed in partnership with Pahar Trust. We built a fine residential school for profoundly deaf children from the region.  NST also began to take an interest in, and support financially, the Kawasoti Hostel Project, a lowland hostel for mountain children with physical disabilities. The purpose of the hostel is to facilitate such children to go to school in a lowland school close to the hostel.  Chris and Carme now wish to provide support to the families of individual children who need some financial assistance to attend school, either because the family is very poor, or the child will attend the Kawasoti Hostel. Chris is also currently actively trying to help equip that hostel with specialist Physiotherapy equipment for the children who will live there. This is a collaboration with a British charity called Physionet.
